PURe JoY Apparel Giveaway Ends Sept 18, 2010

I was on a hunt for a t-shirt for dear hubby when I found PUReYoY Apparel.   PURe JoY Apparel is an apparel company founded by Jared Peterson and Brian Pennington, and they have graciously given One Today's Diva Entrant their choice of any t-shirt!!

About the Company!!

After spending way too much time being tragically hip, we decided to enter the apparel business. We started with the simple goal to create clothing that we would wear ourselves. We both love music and "surf culture" and aim to create apparel that reflects these passions. We hope you'll enjoy it as well.

Growing up in Southern California, Brian spent a lot of his youth in Huntington Beach. Those memories serve as the inspiration for Pure Joy Apparel. The name "Pure Joy" actually comes from a Huntington Beach surf shop from Brian's childhood. It wasn't around for long, but the name made a permanent impression. We feel that the name effectively captures the feeling that surfing gives you.

As a company we aim to be a lot of things, but maybe most importantly we want to be responsible. That's easy to say, but what does that mean? For us it means a lot of things. For example, we print on only the highest quality materials that are made in America. If it means we have to pay a little more to have something printed, but we don't exploit child labor in the process, then we'll do it. Responsibility is something we talk about a lot and we hope you'll see those conversations make their way into our products.
