Introducing Cangles
With 50 billion cans ending up in landfills or incinerated yearly in the U.S., I recently found a really cool online company that has decided to recycle in a new and revolutionary way.
It was only the last week in August 2009, when 4 individuals came up with the idea of making bracelets from recycled cans.
Use cans to create bangles - and Cangles was born. Since that time, Cangles has designed eco cuffs and earrings!
I’m sure you’ve seen lots of interesting ways in which people are using recycled materials, but nothing comes close to the fashionable look of this eco jewelry! At Cangles they have created styles that will appeal to your unique personality, whatever it is. Every single Cangles is handmade using recycled (and sanitized) aluminum cans. And the result? A colorful, eco-friendly, one-of-kind fashion accessory.

I was so thrilled to be sent a set of Cangles for Reivew.
What a neat piece of Jewelry and it makes for a great conversation. I have had fun telling many about this cool piece. I really like eco-jewerly and the magnetic clasp used makes it sooo easy to put on and take off.
I was sent Two Bangles called Squirt Citrus and Arizona Tea in Green for Review and I love them both.
Squirt Citrus Burst soda can handcrafted into a Fashionably Green bangle. A recycled Squirt Citrus Burst soda can hand made into this bold but bright bangle. It's 1/2-inch wide, with silver-colored trim.
Bangle hand made from a recycled Arizona Tea can, enhanced with silver-colored fancy trim. Women's bangle hand made with a teal-colored Arizona Tea can, 1/2-inch wide, silver-colored scalloped trim, pretty magnetic closure or traditional clasp
**A recent survey by Forbes magazine showed that most feel the economy and jobs are their greatest concern. Supporting companies such as Cangles allows them, in turn, to do business with other local American companies and provide jobs right here where they're most needed! At Cangles they want everyone to be able to wear jewelry that is affordable, fashionable and at the same time friendly to our Earth.
When you buy Cangles, you contribute in many ways:
•Provide jobs for fellow Americans in a county with a 16% unemployment rate
•Allow Cangles to purchase materials from other American businesses
•Contribute to Ronald McDonald House Charities
•Contribute to scientific research and education through Save the Earth Foundation
•Improve our eco environment for future generations
•Remove 1 less can from the Earth’s landscape
•Beautify yourself!
